February 28, 2013 - DLE-TEST09 : Here the full tests and measurements conducted on the RAG v1.3 (Regenerative Acceleration Generator) loaded with a High Power LED bulb. With its High Voltage secundary coil, the RAG v1.3 has already been successfully tested with a lead battery in charge at its output. The RAG v1.3 is a replication of the Thane C. Heins' ReGenX of Potential Difference Inc. Canada.

Here is the setup used for the TEST-DLE09 :

In this test, the light bulb used as the load (a High Power Led bulb, Light House x21 Leds) is connected directly on the HV secundary coil via a switch. The step down transformer is not used here..


I have conducted a full serie of mesurements with and without the load connected on the secundary coil along the full working RPM range of the brushless motor. Below the full datas of the measurements that I have conducted :

We can observe that at low RPM the RAG works as a common motor/generator : when a load is connected on its secundary, its turn speed drops and the input current increases a bit.

At a certain speed, when the secundary is loaded, the RPM of the motor INCREASES and the input current DROPS.

Comments :

These full tests of the RAG (Regenerative Acceleration Generator) v1.3, a replication of the ReGenX from PDI, fully confirm the observations and the measurements conducted by Thane C. Heins.
